Considering the same things, how come you can get the acer one for $156 cheaper?
Based on my calculation, acer $810 but if you upgrade memory to 32, that's another $80ish.
So its roughly $30 cheaper? ($920 lenovo - $890 acer).

Wondering if ebay has a holiday return not just regular 30 days?

The Acer was on sale for $764 a few weeks ago after coupon. so plus $80 would bring it to $844, so the Lenovo is $76 more for 200 more nits, extra .4" screen size, and better build quality. I might return the Acer for this

Might want to add that it was a coupon that not everyone could avail and only a handful of people got that deal.

Just flip your acer on market place make 50 bucks. Not sure what your tax is but you would be shocked what people will pay for used laptops.

If your budget is 1000 this is a perfect choice. Refurb doesn't really matter. Its $919 in the cart. Add you will see price before you pay.

Don't think that's correct. It was 10% off for refurbished products, which has now changed to 8%. It's automatically shown on the checkout page for eligible products.

Very tempting, but so close to BF/CM. $970 after tax for me. Hope to snag a 4070 machine for that in a few weeks.

I have had this one for about a year now, but with a 6900hx and 32gb RAM. It's been excellent, with the exception of a cheap INVZI dock(or included cable) frying something inside. I hav an almost identical 12700h version, and still choose the 6900hx for my daily because it has slightly better battery life, a much better iGPU, and is quieter (the i7 fans run at higher speed more frequently).

One thing, I tried the new forza motorsport on the 6900hx model and was getting roughly 20fps less than the i7 version, even though it doesn't seem like the CPU was under heavy load on either. I just got the AMD version back from Lenovo and I'm not sure what they fixed, so I'll have to try again tonight to see if the fix increases the FPS. Excellent otherwise.

I have the 2022 version of this (3070/5800H/32GB) and the display on it still blows me away. It can get kinda loud on performance mode but it chews through most AAA titles and is great for video editing I do too.

Did you end up trying it after the fix?
