Just so everyone is on the same page about the three PS5 revisions to date:
Launch PS5 (Rev1): 7nm chip, original heatsink
Rev2 PS5: 6nm chip, lighter heatsink, same everything else
PS5 Slim (Rev3): 6nm chip, even lighter heatsink, 1TB storage (up from 825GB), new smaller design (slightly different ports/button layout)
From testing, it looks like the Slim has the same exact power draw and thermal profile as the Rev2, but slightly different noise characteristics (roughly the same dB loudness). Performance is identical across all three revisions. The extra storage in the Slim is nice; they also changed the storage controller to a less complicated one, likely because there's no measurable gain in load times (people have installed slow Gen4 drives in PS5s and found they have roughly the same in-game performance as the fastest ones within margin of error).
They need to discount more if including that game.
They need to drop the price. Still $500 three years after launch.

I watched this whole video. didn't find any major flaw during the break down that would indicate a no buy. Im sorry that older ps5 is a absolute brick that I refuse to put in my room.
