Is this a huge improvement over the 6 series? Would it be worth the $400 difference?
Well do you have $400 to spend?

Short answer is yes. Could write a thousand words of opinion but the low-mid tier is the best starting point for price/quality/value for 90% of people. The U7 is the best in that category. TCL comes close but has fallen off the last few years. You're basically getting quality that would be much more expensive from Sony, Samsung, etc. at the expense of less marketing and possibly shakier quality control.

If you have less, spend less on whatever ultra cheap deals come out for Black Friday. It will still be great since TV tech has gotten so cheap lately.

If you have more discerning taste, this is a nice TV but might not have the extreme wow factor of some others. Anything more expensive is arguably a *worse* value since you pay a big premium for dimishing returns in slightly better features, but that's capitalism baby!

How are the viewing angles on the 75"? They should be good as it's supposed to have either an IPS or ADS PRO panel but figured I would ask. Glad to hear that you like the TV so far.

Also how far away are you sitting from it?
I have a 4-person couch @ 10 ft . Viewing angles are great -- no noticeable color shift or washout. If I get really close and to the side, then it's noticeable (say 5 ft and about 2-3 feet of to the side.

RTings has the formal measurements-- but the viewing angles have surpassed my needs. Every spot in the room where i would sit is good.

Bought this and was delivered on October 31st, requested a price match today, should be approved by tomorrow.

The TV is excellent and have loved it so far. Absolutely no complaints. Goes toe to toe with the big guns for half the price.

Placed in the living room with lots of daylight and brightness/clarity/color accuracy has not been an issue.

Can someone provide a link or better explain why these are significantly better than the Hisense 75" Class R6 Series 4K UHD LED Roku Smart TV - 75R6030K (New) for $400.

Same question. The app says pricing is good thru Black Friday. I've held off on buying hoping to get a good deal but this is only $30 lower than when I first started eyeing it 2 months ago.
