I agree, the cable and wall charger are definately worth half that price, the adapter is worth 35 for sure. It allows you to use dewalt batteries to power anything USB or USB-C PD, it allows you to charge your dewalt batteries anywhere that you have a USB charger. If you're somewhere without 110v to charge your batteries, you can use this with a car usb charger. In tests, this charges as fast as a fast charger depending how you power it.
The Dewalt fast chargers are 100.00+ and won't charge your laptop or work in a car.
Dewalt has a battery charger that works off of a standard car 12v socket, it is really expensive for a single slow charger.
