Not worth it. I got a box fan with the tap up HEPA filter. Heck lot cheaper. It works.

It looks like the confusion is that they say this model will filter 1,140 sq ft per hour or 228 sq ft five times an hour. Based on what I've read, it takes at least four full changes an hour to clean the air, so 228 sq ft is the true room size for this.
