a similar brand were in my store for $6/ea. $10/box isn't terrible considering how much they go for when they're in season.

I don't know if the deal is slick, but we traditionally eat moon cakes from mid-September to early October during the Mid-Autumn Festival. I wonder, are these leftover inventory?

That said, I would eat tasty moon cakes year-round if they were fresh.

these things are good, but god damn 750 calories per piece is pretty insane. It's 30% more than a big mac lol

That's like saying traditionally you eat chocolate between October and February only and only during the holidays. I saw mooncakes at Asian stores year-round in Asia when I was living there. Sure, you get fancy ones during festival, but again, that's like chocolate w/ Halloween wrapping.
