Big time. I can't speak to every single cheap spin brush, but a lot of the cheaper brushes vibrate more than spin. A vibrating brush head still takes a lot of manual dexterity to brush well. The higher amplitude rotation of the Pro and IO models require very little input besides aiming and applying light pressure.

More expensive than Sonicare even. The old Oral B is the cheapest. iO is half a cash grab from Oral B/PG and half competing with Sonicare in the sonic vibrating toothbrush market. It's nice but might as well go with Sonicare since these heads are more expensive.

No they do not all have the same head. These IOs have a slanted base head vs the other oral Bs have a flat base head. It's a cash grab like somebody else said. They could have made the bases all the same style/slope for attachment but didn't.
