Big time. I can't speak to every single cheap spin brush, but a lot of the cheaper brushes vibrate more than spin. A vibrating brush head still takes a lot of manual dexterity to brush well. The higher amplitude rotation of the Pro and IO models require very little input besides aiming and applying light pressure.

sonicare is great for the price but the head shape makes it hard to use for small; even avg sized mouths. after trying both, id be willing to pay more for oral-b just cause its easier to get a good targeted cleaning.

I found the opposite to be true. The oral-B IO stem is way too THICC. Toothpaste was hard to distribute evenly in your mouth without some of it falling out. Overall, the thickness of the stems causes some fatigue in your jaws and toothpaste to eventually spill out

They are both effective. There are rivaling studies that try to demonstrate superiority, but results are usually highly biased and very similar anyway. It largely comes down to personal preference. I prefer the Oral-B. Sonicare used to be built better with lithium batteries. Oral-B is fixing that weakness with the newer brushes.

Those crevices are probably design limitations due to the magnetic driver that only the IO series has.
