T500 is comparable to a 1650 mobile in terms of specs. This will do basic gaming but have a hard time in modern gaming. This is a pretty solid laptop with a good screen and chassis at a good price, but not a powerhouse at all anymore, a mid tier 12 or 13th gen Intel or comparable ryzen will beat this cpu and a 3050 is a lot better.

It got beat out handily by a RTX 3060 for a comparison. Maybe okay for some small dataset number crunching and better than integrated GPUs but don't expect too much more.

RAM upgradeability and screen is not bad. Maybe if they'd cut the price by $100, it would be more interesting
