These are very durable plates. I recommend checking the dimensions if you plan on using along with a different set of plates: these are about 5mm less in diameter than most plates. They are also wide (though that's typical for crumb bumper plates).

I can't speak to the crumb rubber plates, but from what I've read, the normal virgin rubber 10lb and 15lbs bumper plates are 5mm smaller, but that's to protect them when loaded on a bar with bigger plates like the 45's. The idea is that the 45's, which are thicker, hit first and absorb most of the shock before the 10's even hit. Anything 25lb and larger is a competition standard 450mm in diameter
