I've tried a number of different trackers/watches and found this band closure design is the best. Very easy to put it on AND take off. I thought it's a Xiaomi (patented?) design but maybe not.

the only relation xiaomi has to them is they used to use zepp's mobile app for setup and tracking but xaiomi no longer uses zepp's app (which zepp is great app) and now uses their own inhouse app which is kinda garbage compared to zepp

Spend the extra and get a used Apple Watch SE. it's worth it for the accuracy alone

I bought it last time it was on sale.

If you are looking for accuracy, this is not it.
If you are looking for general reference / exercise tracking / small footprint and long battery life, it is for you.

When I first started using it, I set up a few notification I thought I wanted. It's nice but sometimes the watch gets confused. I disable most of them.

Battery life was about 13 days from 100% to 10% when I first got it while playing with it. Now I am average 11~14 days. It's great that you don't have to charge it everyday.

Fast forward six months, the band broke. I super-glued it back and it's working fine. After six months, the band sometimes comes off too easily. All in all, I'm pretty happy for my usage.

I ran into this recently with the time change. I had to use the Zepp app as the Xi app didn't detect my mom's Mi Band 5. Xiaomi should include a note in the app to owners of previous models to use the Zepp app instead as it was pretty confusing, I thought they had EOL'ed the watch and wouldn't allow it to connect anymore.
