I have the 75 R635. Stay far far away. Horrible motion, buggy software, awful DSE. Will never buy TCL again. Like others have said no 2.1 HDMI but will do 120hz at 1440p.

I've had Sony's and a TCL R646 (I think), it was brand new from Best Buy. It was a dud and after installed I had them come back, they told me one of the colors went bad or something. Never a TCL again.
Meanwhile my 46" 15 year old Sony is doing great. Looks better than most current TVs…I even say that with a 75" 8k Samsung. Go for Sony.

Aside from brand name and OLED and screen size, should I get this or the 86" LG posted on the other thread? Im mainly using the TV for watching movies on YouTube and Netflix, no gaming for the foreseeable future. Thanks!

I was in Costco a while back and they had the LG display up and I can honestly say it looked worse than everything near it. It was by the Sony x80k and Samsung CU7000. So if only size is important go LG but the picture is inferior to the x90L.

Recently i bought Hisense u8k from costco for $850. Is this one better than Hisense ? Hisense has a better rting of 8.5 and i mounted yesterday. So far i like it. But if i get a better option then I am open to returning it

We have this TV for about a month now, im not TV enthusiast but I really love the quality and brigthness. Unless it sat side-by-side from my CX OLED LG, i wouldnt be able to tell teh difference from OLED.

One big cons tho is that the viewing angle is bad. around 45degrees and above it looks like a regular LCD tv. But if ur infront up to like 30degrees its really crisp and color pops. Theres only me and my partner so i dont watch from the side.

OS is a big factor for me, i bought a mini LED from TCL and despite loving the screen i hate the slow UI. Sony has fast UI.

So from a regular joe, 1k is worth the TV paired with the free 3 year warranty from allstate from costco makes this a good deal for me

I believe Slickdeals shows a month ago it was $799 with 3 year warranty. Maybe I should hold off?

Probably a stupid question but I'm not a TV expert. This TV is worth it over the current Hisense deals ? I know Sony is likely a superior brand

Also is the Sony OLED at Walmart for 1400$ the best option in the 65inch market available ? Worth the extra 400$
