I have the 75 R635. Stay far far away. Horrible motion, buggy software, awful DSE. Will never buy TCL again. Like others have said no 2.1 HDMI but will do 120hz at 1440p.

I'm on the fence between this or the LG B3 55" OLED for the same price. 1k or so is my budget, and I was leaning toward OLED initially, but would consider an LCD for the larger size if the image quality is comparable.

Would anyone who owns either care to share their perspective, or knowledge of these two in comparison?

Oh okay. It's the first time I've ordered something online on Costco and was surprised to see a second transaction. I guess I'll just wait until it actually gets posted.
I recently purchased a TV through Costco. I was charged instantly for the Allstate protection ($100) with a separate charge for the TV with a discount to offset the Allstate protection. The TV charge actually came through a day or two later when the DC shipped the TV to the local depot for delivery.

I was in Costco a while back and they had the LG display up and I can honestly say it looked worse than everything near it. It was by the Sony x80k and Samsung CU7000. So if only size is important go LG but the picture is inferior to the x90L.
From my research only buy LG if it's OLED

The only reason to pick the Samsung is if a better viewing angle is the only thing that's important. Per Rtings: Samsung - 7.5/10 vs Sony - 8.1/10

Probably a stupid question but I'm not a TV expert. This TV is worth it over the current Hisense deals ? I know Sony is likely a superior brand

Also is the Sony OLED at Walmart for 1400$ the best option in the 65inch market available ? Worth the extra 400$
Both very good TVs and the OLED at Walmart is often priced between 1800 and 2400. If you want the best possible picture with deep blacks and contrasts, the OLED is clearly better. If you are an average person who is not very detailed about specifics, you would also be extremely happy with the X90. If money is very tight or if you have to put this on a time payment, go with the x90. Just my opinion from reading and seeing both in the store. I do not own either one. If I had to choose I would go OLED for extra 400.

The Q80C is the first samsung TV in their line up to offer an actual backlight. The sonys have a backlight in all of their TVs. The Sony x90l has local dimming

The Q80C has local dimming too... just not as effective as the Sony.

I saw this was pre-announced in costco ads saying this deal will be available from Nov 24-27 and online first only on Nov 23. Surprised to see it's available earlier than pre-announcement

Take a look at this comparison. Sounds like the L is nice step up from the K. https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/compare/sony-x90k-x90ck-vs-sony-x90l-x90cl/31221/39008?usage=1&thres... [rtings.com]

I have X90J 75 inch, which is a 2021 model. It is an excellent TV for watching movies and the pictures look amazing. A little bit more reflections if watching in a bright room. Apparently the latest model has a bit more peak brightness and so should have less reflections in theory. Personally, i will get a bigger screen for comparable pricing if the viewing distance is appropriate and this Sony in particular.
