You're better off getting a harbor freight aluminum hitch carrier and a separate box. It will be half the price of this and so much more useful.

Do your exhaust gases or the hot muffler pipes melt the plastic bumper above the exhaust ports?

Be aware that one may get ticketed for "obscuring license plate" when using hitch-mounted accessories like one in OP. YMMV

[Correction, the frame is included in this bundle. Ignore the note in the item photos] Doesn't even include the frame. So perhaps decent if you already have the Thule Arcos and love the platform, but not slick for anyone else.

I use the ROLA version of this which is bigger but a swing away. I think the swing away is a better way to go as it allows better access to the vehicle.

To answer someones question....the box has not affect on the exhaust. Exhaust pipes are no where close enough to have any affect. nor is the heat a factor..

I guess I'm not yuppie enough. Harbor freight hitch carrier + a big black project box for less than $150. Works awesome and no one steals it.

RTFM here before you buy this deal. Someone mentioned the exhaust melting, it is a concern per the manual. Load distribution is also a factor, there will be a wire coming out for the light attachment, will require two people to lift it up due to its size, driving consideration need to added as mentioned in the manual.
