The app for De'Longhi however is pretty useless. Takes 1+ minutes to reconnect each time so I rarely use it. Only time I use it is when I'm in bed and too lazy to turn on the machine. I use the app to turn on and prime the machine.

If you read the 1-star reviews, most of it is about milk frothier stopped working within the first 3 months or some say, after the first descaling. It's like a consistent issue.
Then, you see their customer service nightmare stories when they try to contact De Longhi about this issue.
If it's $600, I can probably gamble but $1300 seem steep.

Unfortunately, at this price range there is no good alternative, super auto with decent coffee.
Seems like best next alternative is Philips 4300 or 5300 which are cheaper right now. You can get 5300 with $250 off from Versuni website. I have been checking those but seems like they are much more problematic, so many complaints.
I would go to Breville, cheaper and better coffee, but I really want a super auto model.
I guess at this point, it is hit or miss looking at the reviews. Fingers crossed!
