Therefore if you grab the 10-core M1 Pro, it would have very similar performance to the baseline model of M2 Pro and M3 Pro. Think of it as a low-cost generational upgrade.
With regards to the fall '21 phone -- if I were in the market for a high-end iPhone and could get a iPhone 13 Pro Max 512GB for half price, I might consider it seriously because, really, how much has iPhone changed in the last 2 generations?
