This has alcohol mixed in so it might be either drying your scalp making it itchy or you might have a slightly allergic reaction to the ingredients

Serious question.. I'm 38.. I have no recinding hairline, but my hair has been thinning of the last few years... Would this help? I'm a semi hairy Italian beast... but just worry about loosing my hair. My dad still has a full set, but I thought you get your jeans from your mom's side. This is a serious post. Thank you.

Best bet is to consult a doctor. Internet advice will only get you so far. I've read that once you start using this stuff.....you have to commit because once you stop the hair loss will actually accelerate. Hard to say. Again, consult a doctor if serious.

Won't help for receding hairline but if you are thinning at the crown then likely yes. The rumors are true that once you use this, you have to continue. You aren't losing more hair per day, but you will lose the ones you "gained" so the hair shed will look worse because let's say you used this for 5 years. If you stop at the end of 5 years it won't look the same as before you started because you should look like 5 years of not using this. Meaning if we haven't used this, you'd look thinner and thinner.
