I've never tried one, but a friend told me a cordless glue gun is a game changer.

Use a Surebonder hot glue gun -- they're made a lot better than these Wescott ones.

The Ryobi cordless glue gun is a Surebonder clone (maybe it's rebranded by them, who knows?) -- It takes the same tips, so it's cross-compatible and the same high quality.

Not a slick deal. Hot glue guns are super cheap everywhere.
