That's what I thought, but bought it anyway. I use it a lot more than I thought it would. It cuts through boxes, clamshell, carpet, etc with ease.

Same here have more than enough stuff that I have bought from Slickdeals over the past few years, Still got it anyway to cut all the boxes I get from Amazon to fit in my recycling bin. Saw at A friend's house much safer and easier to use than A razor blade/Box cutter. This deal is definitely A good price saw it A few weeks ago on eBay opex box for this price.

Ya I looked into these things over COVID and landed on this version. It's been sitting in my saved cart on Amazon since then, and I just happened to see the price drop today by luck. 🙌

It has a single 18650 li-ion battery. I disassembled it and replaced the Chinese cell with Samsung cell and even added an USB charging circuit. It is not that hard if you have the right tools.
IMO, this is the best tool to open a pesky blister pack.

Good looking out aphex. Hey can you recommend to me where you get your bulk 18650 batteries. I'm looking to fix/upgrade an old emergency radio, and a goal zero battery pack. Gonna need at least 8 x 18650 batteries, and I can't find a reliable source. Don't trust anything on Amazon. 🙏

I am not really sure because I am from Korea. You might look for some vape battery sellers although you might not need that high discharge rate cells for your application.
