No warranty information listed on the page. Otherwise it looks almost the same as the dell deal. Also compare the monoprice monitor.

Me too, same question. Samsung vs Dell.
I was looking for a 27" QHD monitor for video playing. So doesn't care about 144hz or 240hz or Gsync.
Many people said the Dell has good color.
But I have a bad experience that Dell monitor had burn-in issue right after warranty expired.

one of the reviews mention that the monitor is dim if set to eye care mode. if you disable eye care mode, it's 300cd/m2, which is plenty bright for indoor use as long as you don't have direct sunlight shining right at it.

It is strange on how manufacturers do not clearly mention the brightness of the monitors... maybe it suits them selling dim monitors because most people do not know that there are different brightness levels.

When it doesn't mention how bright it is, it's usually 300 nits or cd/m^2 or lower.

This is 300 nits cd/m^2 brightness. I'll pass.

If this were 350-400 cd/m^2, it's a buy.

Costco BF: The above one is 400Nits IPS at $170.

Is this better monitor or the costco MSI listed above?

I'm looking for a monitor for my son to take to college for his Xbox. Would anyone recommend this? Would a smaller TV be better than a monitor?

I wouldn't go under 400 nits brightness. I guess if you work in a super dark room, 250 is ok.

$50 less than I paid for HP 27mq monitors a few months ago. For what it's worth, they are also 300 nits and my desk is immediately next to a window facing south (and I'm in the northern hemisphere), no issues with the brightness even mid-day.
