Pretty much everyone that sells these has them for $150 right now. And several vendors may have coupon codes, first time buyer deals, or email sign-up codes that you might be able to use to get it cheaper.

A few more to add to the list would be REI [rei.com], Performance [performancebike.com], Jenson [jensonusa.com], Eriks [eriksbikeshop.com], and Buydig [buydig.com].

Edit: Even more, Nashbar [nashbar.com], Backcountry [backcountry.com]

Awesome product, don't ride without it but it does go on sale from time to time for $130. That being said, that $20 may not be worth it the wait if you ride on regularly on the road…

Fantastic item. I like that Allows you to ride 2 wide on country roads and then go single file when a car comes

I love mine. I paid less. But I'd happily pay more. If mine was stolen, I'd snap up another at this price. As others have said, they do go lower on occasion.

Just the opposite. For example, there is a less traveled road that I often ride which has absolutely horrible pavement, especially on the shoulders. While I am capable of riding through the potholes, I prefer to ride in the middle of the road where I can avoid most of them and this little device will alert me when a car is coming so I can move back to the shoulder when necessary to let them past.

And gravel, definitely helpful for riding on gravel where I find myself all over the road looking for the best surface but can move to the side if traffic is coming.

Just go to the home page of most of those sites and a pop-up may appear with email sign-up or new customer discount offers. Use incognito or clear your cookies if you've been there before. Note that some, like REI, don't let you stack codes with sale prices.

Adding to other comments, I find Varia to be a great product. I've got the RTL315 model (no light) and I paid $99 for it a couple of years ago. It's not great for use on crowded roads but very useful in intermittent traffic. Can be paired with a Garmin watch to provide vibration alerts.
