I just saw this, but as of this writing, the trade-in value for a pixel 7 pro is only $250, which is pretty sad for their most recent flagship phone!

The price is a joke for a mid-range device from Google.

Yeah they better up their trade-in values. Typing this from my 6a I got last year for free with trade-in of 5a.

It'll be no surprise to Google that pixel buys won't be as high this year as last. Considering how many ppl took advantage of last year's TIV and how many pixel 7 were sold last year, that leaves very little incentives to buy the P8.

But not seeing any special specific deals on Pixel 8/8 Pro deals.

The only thing that I noticed is a $5 difference between the two websites:

Google Fi website:
Trade in my existing P6P 128GB to P8P 256GB, it's $659 (after $400 off) - $125 trade in = $534 total before taxes.

Google Store:
Trade in my existing P6P 128GB to P8P 256GB, it's $659 (after $400 off, if I select Google Fi as the option) - $130 trade in = $529 total before taxes.

Google's store is $5 cheaper and also eligible for cash back from certain sites.
Sadly no new deal for P8 or P8P Frown

I got played. May just buy the 8 at $549 and call it a day. Pixel 7 pro is also at $549...

Google should be embarrassed. Apple wouldn't even take our phones for recycle but we'll offer full retail price and a reach around for an old broken iPhone trade in.

Tell me about it - so disappointing. I'm planning to trade in my kid's Pixel 5 either for a P7a or P8 (likely the P8 as it's only a $25 difference in price) but debating about my P6P to P8P. It has lost about 5% battery life each year.

Or what Flagship phone except Samsung and Apple worth to buy?

It's kinda looking like it is what it is. Google store may be a better deal given the discounts are applied not as billing credits.

What do you guys think?

So you can pick up a Pixel 6a for $100 at Target today and trade it in for $300 in credit, thus making a 7a $174. No clue how the 7a is; I haven't been in the market for a new phone in quite a while. I'm mostly looking for a secondary phone for personal phone stuff as work gives me a top of the line Samsung every other year.

Thoughts on that?

I don't see a 6a on Target's website at all, let alone for $100... how are you finding that?
