a 5kwh server rack battery is about 1400 a while back. Haven't checked prices. But another 2000 for a 3k inverter and 2x200w foldables seem expensive.

Batteries will get there someday. But for now they just are not up to the task. Same for cars. EV's will work. Eventually. Once we work out the battery technology and improve the grid.
In the mean time hybrids are a perfect solution. Reduced emissions. Save gas. Only slightly most expensive than ICE. And provides a way to improve battery and electric motor tech.
Embrace hybrids. Let things evolve naturally. If you force it. It will fail.

The overriding part about BEV is their efficiency. to continue to push gas that is only 25%-35% efficient is silly. Imagine u getting paid a $100 and throwing $70 of it in the trash. That would be silly. But when u buy a $100 in gas, $30 goes to moving the vehicle. The rest is wasted (most burned up on heat).
But ICE isn't going anywhere. And it's a free market. Anyone that wants to do that, can.
I had just added a 2000 plus Power Station along with 2 X 200W solar panels to my cart (same brand on Newegg), which fell within the $1900 range. However, I am now at a crossroads and not sure about the next steps. Should I proceed with checking out or not? I must admit that I got lost amidst the numerous options and price variations, and opinions?
maybe we'll find a way to bring back a little bit of that old streamline lineups
