Found it by manually searching and does seem like a good entry ebike. Thanks for the post!

Mine was delivered back a few months ago. Got a bad one , problem with the motor and they wouldn't refund me. Buyer beware. Also you will be responsible to pay for return shipping back which could cost $$$ because the bike is heavy.

Sounds like GoTrax customer service
Haven't used that site before, but my wife still has access to her school email. Hopefully that's good enough to get the discount, this seems like a deal worth the risks of the shipping issues people talk about. If anyone has a code they aren't going to use though, we've been in the market for a cheap entry to e-bikes.

I doubt it drops any lower but for it does I'll order one for the 500 watt geared hub alone. No specs on drop out spacing that I found.
** if anyone is thinking of this for a Xmas gift, you'll want to unbox and inspect and charge battery to make sure it works. Takes support a long time to get back to you on any damaged parts and other models shipped with dead batteries and took weeks to get new ones.
Did you build the bike yourself? If not do you know the price I should pay to get this assembled? Never built a bike so not sure what to expect. Thanks.

It doesn't seem too complicated and includes the tools supposedly. Put on front tire, pedals, handlebar, seat. We used to have to do this when we were kids on our new bikes. It's been years but I think I can just do it myself.
