I was recently charged 149.79 for the annual Disney plus service with out ads. When I called customer service to cancel it based on the price increase, I was told I could add the Disney Plus basic to my already established Hulu Student account.

I assume you have to have the student account to get this to work. But if you do go into your account settings, there you will find a billings page with optional add-ons to your plan. Once you click that you will see an option to add Disney plus with ads to your Hulu account. NOTE: this can only be done thru your Hulu.com profile account and on Google chrome, not via the app or Disney website.

Total I am now being billed monthly is 4.27 for both streaming services vs the $9.99 monthly bundle price for the same services.

Yeah I got the deal last BF which was $1.99 for Hulu and $2.99 add on for Disney+. Hulu was with ads but Disney+ is ad free.

Also, OP deal is for Disney+ basic, so I assume ads?
I've been paying 4.99 for Hulu with Disney add on. Expires sometime around now since it was a 1 year promo for Hulu and at the time the Disney add on was dirt cheap but they have increased the add on price for new subscribers shortly after I signed up.

Mine was set to expire this week. I went to cancel and they gave me a 6 month extension for $1 more. Paying $6 plus tax now for the next 6 months. Didn't have too much hope of another bf deal.

Hope they have something for BF. Mine is set to renew 12/2 and the can fark right on off if they think I'll be paying the new $140/year for it.

Went to cancel Hulu (w/ads) and Hulu offered me 6 more months for $2.99/mo for Hulu (w/ads) and my $2.99 Disney+ add-on is still there (and where it shows future billings, it shows $5.98/mo for a number of upcoming months. As far as I can tell, it's not dropping the $2.99 D+ price.

I think that person was referring to if you cancel hulu completely, and then sign up at a later time or new account, you may not be able to get that Disney rate again.

I was paying $1.99/mo for Disney+ with my Hulu with ad plan for students from the last BF deal. If I weren't boycotting them, I would still be paying $10/mo total for Hulu and Disney+.

I already cancelled and it go into effect on the 26th of this month. I got in on the deal last year and have been paying only $5/mo for Hulu ads and Disney no ads. Hardly ever used Hulu, but was worth it for Disney. Hoping for a similar deal otherwise they just get no money from me.

Have had Disney Plus since day one, and finally cancelled it today. They keep raising their prices and the content is getting worse.

I already had a cancel so I do hope that Black Friday brings the deal again so I can get it back but when I did cancel they did offer me 6 months I hope that's not going to be the situation for Black Friday I hope it's for a year with would be very decent of the company.
