That one sock is on fire.
Anyone have these? Can anyone confirm you get the one sock that is on fire and 5 that are not?
They don't last long. Heels and toes will get holes within a year or two. Costco socks that are a several years older are still going strong. These look a little different that the ones I bought a few years ago, so maybe someone will take a gamble?

Maybe you're supposed to set it on fire to keep your feet warm lol
On a serious note, negative reviews all consistently point out that they don't last long.

FWIW, the more recent reviews of the Kirkland/Costco wool socks have been negative, and mention them "not being as good as they used to be".

I bought these last winter and have just started wearing them. They're warm and comfortable but noticeably cheaper feeling than the ones I've bought from Costco (which are just starting to thin after 3 years). However, if these last through a winter or two of weekly use, they're a pretty good deal.

And as others have mentioned, I'd be really surprised if these contain any actual wool, much less the 80% advertised.

I can confirm they are not on fire when you receive them.

I've bought these before these are my favorite cheap wool socks. But be aware and do not think these are ultra hardcore backpacking hiking socks. The bad reviews are of people wearing these for 20 mile back packing hikes and complain of them wearing out and getting holes in them.

These are super soft and comfy around the house and daily wearing.

looks like there are a bunch of different socks on amazon with different brand names but very similar product photos, all claiming to be 80% merino wool, all for suspiciously low prices. no way they are legit

I like to give homeless folks warm wool socks when I see them in the winter months. I usually get them at Marshall's or TJs but these look like a great value. 80% wool, that's better than my Darn Toughs

Cheap China Bootlegs. No way they selling you Multiple real Merino socks for $10. I've purchased rando China socks on Amazon before and they do tend to form holes at the toe (top seam) after a few washes. Just like the reviews state. Also, I suspect there's A LOT more poly in the socks than they claim. I tend to normally wear mostly cotton (Jockey) or merino (REI) socks.
