That's why I always get a ton of small value gift cards instead of one big one. If an entire purchase is covered by the gift card, you can't get free shipping through your Red Card.
Still a great deal. I max out every year. Last year they did this promotion twice, once in October and once in December. I got nervous when it didn't happen in October, but glad it's still happening..
