Google Fi sim card went dead

I signed up Google Fi with its unlimited international data plan. The first two months were perfect. Then my phone (Samsung galaxy a13 5g) started giving me errors about the sim xard not being detected. Then a couple of days later, the phone cant see the sim card at all. I lost phone number and cellular data.

I moved the sim card to my spare (known working, unlocked) moto 5G and it does not detected either. That is when I called Google Fi support and they qre sending a new sim card to me. But I have not received it over a week.

Just wondering if this is something you experienced with Google Fi. I have not heard of the SIM card that can go bad.

Had a Pixel 5 for 2 years and just moved the card to my Pixel 7 without any issues.
