Yeah, I waited long enough and pulled the trigger last time it was $250. Seems that's the lowest it goes anymore, a year or so since the $190 mark. Using it about 2 months now, not really anything special about it. It's a case, and it's a barebones keyboard and touchpad with no function/shortcut keys. The best I can say about it is that it has backlit keys. Waay overpriced, which is the Apple way.

The 11" case is $199, which also seems to be a relative low.

I bought this keyboard for the 10.9 inch IPad Air 2020. Worked fine but I got tired of using it in websites which forced me to remove it so I could turn the IPad vertically to use the web site.

I got a generic cover similar to an Ottobox defender. My Magic Keyboard now gathers dust. I wouldn't buy another one. Also, I don't know if policies have changed but you needed to buy the keyboard on the same receipt as the IPad, for AppleCare to cover it. It wasn't available separately. That means if you waited on a good sale for one, but the other one wasn't on sale, you had to pay full price to get the AppleCare coverage.

That is the line the level one people will give you on the phone or pretty much any Apple Store employee because they simply do not know. All you have to do is have an active AppleCare+ plan on your iPad and you are allowed to add 1x Apple Pencil & 1x Folio/Magic Keyboard to your coverage plan. I bought a used Apple Pencil 2 on eBay and all I had to do was call AppleCare support and give them my serial number to add it to my iPad's plan. This is the way..

Interesting. i did that as the product was a recent release and I told them I wasn't aware of the policy. Phone support added it on but it was about a 45 minute process.

It's been this price for a few weeks at Walmart.com. Walmart also offers returns until January 31st.

Not sure if I should wait for a Black Friday deal or a sale like cyber Monday for this keyboard. I still think 250 is a lot for this. $150 I feel is a fair price being that it's an Apple product. But what are the chances of it getting that low in price?

I would honestly wait for the Woot deal to pop up again. I was able to snag the woot like-new for $140, they have done is 2-3 times in the last year. I even got one for an iPad Air for about the same earlier this year
