How does B$H education discount work? They say they have it, but everything I pick with laptops it does not show anything, like this one. Am I doing anything wrong?

I paid $1628 for a certified refurb after tax on eBay for the same model last week.

Congrats! That's an excellent price, even for a certified refurbished item. Would you mind sharing the name of the vendor? BuyRefurbishedUS lists impressive deals every now and then, but those often sell out within days, if not hours.

The 4080 graphics is much better than the 4060 and the display on the $2k model is 240Hz. Its up to you if you plan to do any heavy gaming. A 4080 with 12GB RAM is a much better card.

If you have the additional 700, it's worth it. The 4080 is a more capable graphics cards. If you plan on gaming, this would be more future proof. This graphics card has more than 50% speed.

I just got a 4090 version of this refurb for 2199.

Wow that's a helluva deal. I would of just gone for 4080 if I got that deal.

Does that seller do Price adjustments?

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

I bought this laptop deal from B&H Photo earlier this month for $2,099.00. I just emailed them and they agreed to refund me the difference after the price drop ($109.50 incl. tax). Smilie

EDIT: After the $1899 price drop, my 2nd price adjustment refund request was honored by B&H and I received another $109.50 refund!
