surprisingly large amount of 1 star reviews...mostly talking about the zipper breaking. I have another ozark trails cooler than is worthless now due to the zipper no longer working correctly. Seems to be a common trend with a lot of their coolers.

I've used this cooler for about 2 years now and it's been great. I have had no problems with the zipper and this gets used at least once a week. The previous model I had did have problems with the zipper. Definitely worth $25.

Got this last time around. Zipper part is definitely fragile. The zipper itself didn't break for me but the seam where it's sewn to the cooler ripped from just normal use. I've only used it a handful of times and now it's basically useless on really hot days because the hole from the rip lets in a lot of heat

I've also owned this for about two years. I'm in construction and it functions well as an insulated lunch bag. It holds the super greens or spinach containers from the produce section nicely with room for drinks and other stuff. It will leak some if you throw loose ice in it and lay it on its side. But I use frozen water bottles or ice packs. I haven't had any problems with the zipper other than breaking the stylized zipper pull that I replaced with paracord. The actual zipper is still intact and functions fine. I broke the pull when I had too much in the bag. I've also taken the shoulder strap off and checked it as luggage filling it with jeans and heavier garments on some work trips. It's held up very nicely for the price point. Oh and I've also carried 2 - 20 pounds dumb bells in it from my van to my hotel room on multiple occasions without damaging the straps.
