Yep was looking at refurbished too but unfortunately, this is for a Christmas gift so need to buy new. I can't afford to deal with the ramification if there were hair found in the refurbished items when they open the Christmas gift. in my case it's $100 extra for mental insurance.

so these constantly go for refurb on woot for anwhere between $320-$380. I personally bought one for $322 a month ago and it came as good as new, you couldnt tell the difference.

It's $19 more at Dyson (there's a $19.01 coupon on Amazon right now) for a comb and a "presentation case" plus 2 of the following 3: storage bag, travel pouch, or display stand. Not sure how many storage things you need for one device since it already comes with a storage case. That $125 value is a little dubious, though the travel pouch might be useful.

Plus if you have Amazon Visa, you get an extra $24 back. Without that extra discount, I suppose you're paying $19 for a slew of storage possibilities.
