Get a bag of baby spinach.
Get some sliced mushrooms, your choice but "white" tends to work great.
Fry fatty bacon so that when it cools off and drys it becomes brittle.
Throw all of it in a big pot.
Keep dumping enough cans of this (and the water per can) to cover everything well and heat it for a while. You can even throw the (pre cooked) meatballs in frozen, they'll be fine by the time it's done. (If you get raw ones from the meat market section keep in mind they have to be cooked before it's all done, I usually put them in the oven for 1/2-3/4 done then finish them in the soup when I go that way)
It makes an incredibly good soup. Sure it's mostly flour on the soup end of things, so watch your blood sugar if you must, but I've gotten people hooked on that.
