Only $185 from Best Buy in open box - excellent condition. That's a considerable discount on top of a fine discount. There are worse conditions available too, but not at a price differential that makes it overly worthwhile. The open box - excellent is available in a few stores near me, but it's also available for shipping, at least at the moment.

I swear these things have brainwashing power with those LEDs. Family has one of the larger ones for backyard parties and it's so awesome I want one too, even though I have no need for one.

I tried two nights ago. For some reason my tv couldn't find it. But I only gave it a few minutes before using a workaround. Ended up watching Kong vs Godzilla and it was enough to shake the house. Definitely enhanced the movie watching experience.

How are these compared to the Bose L1 Pro 8? I know it's a different class and price. But would two of these in stereo be better than 1 Bose L1 Pro 8? Using for outdoor movie and small party.

You're better off getting him an actual amp. I can't speak from experience for this specific model but Bluetooth speakers usually have some latency, even over aux, which makes playing instruments through them near impossible. Especially drums.

You can get a much louder and better sounding amp for cheaper than this anyway.

Just returned my Klipsch at Costco and got the 110 at bb as open item. Much better sound, louder ans so much more clear sound. The Klipsch is just meh. Loud but muddy if that makes sense. JBL is way better and mine looks and sounds brand new.
