...and I want exactly 0 of these.
If it was locked in for 6 months, maybe. Not 2 months though.
Here we are… back to paying to watch ads. Paramount plus has more advertising than regular antenna tv.
Its almost 100% big pharma ads. They play the HIV prevention pill ads endlessly. Wtf even is that? To hide your HIV symptoms?

Some of them are more expensive. The Thanksgiving deals used to under $2 and applied for three months.

As a pre-teen back in the mid-'50s, my favorite TV shows were "Amos & Andy" & "I Love Lucy". They were 30 minute programs, and they had a 30-second commercial halfway through the show (I recall hurrying as fast as I could to relieve myself on a pee break, missing as little of the show as I could).

More like 4 minutes of commercials per episode. Blatz Beer of Milwaukee was the big sponsor.

No, not in the early days of these shows, say, circa 1954-55. It was 1 commercial in the middle, 30 seconds.

Go to youtube and you will see differently. The episodes are only 26 or 27 minutes long..

No way they could pay for an episode with just one 30 second commercial. In fact most commercials in that era were 60 seconds long.

I won't argue with you, but I remember vividly, 30-seconds.

I've never seen a big pharma ad. All of mine are dog related. And I have dogs. 🐶🐶
