This has been rock solid for me for over a year now. Way better than orbi.

I paid the same price last black Friday for the 5300 (same model I believe).

Best router I ever owned. I am getting very good speed all around the house. No drop connections ever.

Only complaint is the app requires 2 bucks monthly for the additional features.

Going to buy this as a gift. Purchased from Costco basically when it came out to replace an ubiquiti amplifi hd system.

Don't think this has had to be restarted a single time, nothings ever randomly disconnected—about 25 items connected at all times. Practically full speed throughout the entire home.

Suggestion for those installing mesh systems without extra Ethernet ports throughout the house, go to fast . Com or another speed test site, after installing the base. Go as far as you can away in opposite directions while testing the speed to find the best places to put the mesh points. For me, I placed them in areas that had about 95% of the speed as being next to the main router. It reached significantly farther than I expected.

The 6ghz wireless back haul seems to be completely game changing.

I had the opposite experience (Orbi worked better for me) but thanks to Costco's amazing return policy there's no problem switching.

You may be able to find things like this cheaper elsewhere from time to time but Costco's return policy keeps me coming back to them.

Does this model also have the WAN/LAN problem as internet flickers?

Same experience. Super reliable and fast WiFi for over a year compared to my previous non tri-band Orbi.

What speeds are you getting away from satellites?

Same exact experience as you both with the routers (no success with axe5300 and better success with two different orbis). Also agree on buying at Costco as router incompatibilities and nuances tend not to show up or become apparent right away and might take few months to realize it needs to go back. For me this 5300 set just would not play nice with numerous devices on my network including my peloton, Hisense smart TV and my two Amazon Alexa IR repeaters. For those devices in particular it was constant Wi-Fi disconnects with the two Amazon ir repeaters completely unable to even connect at all because the router never had a dedicated 2.4ghz band. Switched back to orbi and problem instantly solved. While features and range are good, orbi isn't particularly worse and I have no 6e devices that take advantage of this anyway that's why it went right back.

Yep, what are your speeds???

i am rocking here with a couple of semi-ancient Asus routers (AC86u/AC68u) and AiMesh. Get about 200-350 mbps around the house (~4000 sq. ft) on SpeedTest, with the provider link of 300 mbps (360 in actuality).

Can I use MoCA adapters with these since I'm not wired for cat?

Hi, are Parental Controls available as a free service or is that a subscription based? I read somewhere that some models require subscription for that. I currently tplink X60 but planning to replace it. Thanks

It should run the backbone on the 6ghz band, leaving the standard bands free

Would that be faster than running them wireless?

Opposite others experience with my X55 Deco units. Not reliable, spotty coverage, sometimes drops internet completely even with 3 satellite within less than 2000sqft area. Not sure if these have stronger coverage. All my cameras get 2 out of 3 bars for some reason. It has difficulty connecting wireless backhaul, I hight POE switch and x50 peo outdoor unit to compliment and get better coverage.

Curious to see if same price both online and warehouse. Need one kind of quick, but not sure if worth the drive up there for same price. Been holding out limping along an old router for awhile now and from my limited research, these seem like the best and most practical option for my needs.
