This has been rock solid for me for over a year now. Way better than orbi.

I paid the same price last black Friday for the 5300 (same model I believe).

Best router I ever owned. I am getting very good speed all around the house. No drop connections ever.

Only complaint is the app requires 2 bucks monthly for the additional features.

Going to buy this as a gift. Purchased from Costco basically when it came out to replace an ubiquiti amplifi hd system.

Don't think this has had to be restarted a single time, nothings ever randomly disconnected—about 25 items connected at all times. Practically full speed throughout the entire home.

Suggestion for those installing mesh systems without extra Ethernet ports throughout the house, go to fast . Com or another speed test site, after installing the base. Go as far as you can away in opposite directions while testing the speed to find the best places to put the mesh points. For me, I placed them in areas that had about 95% of the speed as being next to the main router. It reached significantly farther than I expected.

The 6ghz wireless back haul seems to be completely game changing.

Can you use separate SSIDs (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) with these?
In settings it allows you to create a separate IOT network on 2.4

I have the same one and one of the units died. It will reboot as soon as a device connects to it.
If it's Costco do an exchange there, if you bought it on eBay it came eBay refurbished and has a 2 year warranty that is certainly still active.

In Access point mode, It will use the same SSID and password for 2.5/5. 6GHz can have its own unique.

BUT, you can use the guest network for IOT devices and have them separate from your main wifi. I do this with my WiFi cameras and video doorbell.

Can anyone speak of this router?

https://slickdeals.net/f/17072107-asus-rt-ax88u-pro-ax6000-dual-band-wifi-6-extendable-gaming-router...

I am looking for a router since I bought an asus one and very disappointed with it. It would disconnect randomly. Contacted Asus gave me some setting still happened I don't want to deal with it so I am consider the Costco deal or this one feedback appreciated.
Are you using these Decos for Wifi? These Decos and be set as router/wifi or WiFi AP.

I cant attest to the one you linked, but I am using a TPLink OMADA ER605 router and these TP Link Decos and have been very happy. .

Does this have any support for Google home ? I have google WiFi from last 3 years. I use them as voice assistants for turning on lights, pausing internet on selected devices etc .. It started getting aged, seeing random connection drops looking for a decent replacement, any suggestions?

AXE5300 for $270 versus AXE5000 at $200. Is this unit worth the additional $70+tax?

maybe just my experience, I bought this from Costco for around this same price and returned it because one of the ethernet port stopped working after few months. I loved this device but this failure is not acceptable. I bought it couple of times again and it failed due to same issue. Great thing about costco is their return policy. I then bought this same from TP Link store on ebay as refurb for $184 6 months ago and it is going very well no issues with those. Maybe tp link fixes this issue on refurb, just my $0.02.
having same issue. ethernet ports dont work on any of the 3 base stations, any fix to this?
