still not really warmer. Ridiculous when a a90c of same size is $1600. samsung has a lot of annoying issues and no dolby vision, but still... almost double the price for the same panel?
Abe's of Maine is a grey market store. No manufacturers' warranty, and they have restocking fees and order cancelation fees.
If you can do with a new product without warranty for a cheaper price, go for it!
BestBuy has it slightly discounted at $200 off.
Good to know. I wish Costco sold it. They do the more mainstream A80. And a 5-year warranty. But only this A95 would do justice to my 4k BD collection. Champagne tastes, beer budget. I wonder what the 65" A95 will be going for *next* BF...

S90C is essentially a repackaged S95B, using previous gen panel. It's a good value. Better to compare A95L to S95C though since they both use latest panel.

my s90c has the 2nd gen panel, though. so that is why I am comparing it. technically, I could even do a modification to make it truly a s95c, but I don't want to risk it like others are.

Alot of the smaller s90cs are gen 2 panels in fact probably the majority of them at this late in the year and all of the 77 inch s90cs are gen 2 because they never made a gen1 77 inch.

+1 I am in the same boat. I might (will) have to wait as well. Bought C1 year of release in August, then got HT-A9 and sub the following Spring...then saw what what the A95K did with those speakers...then saw the A95L following year and it's an obsession now. It's been a tough year, not in a Karen sort of way since I work with my hands, but I will come home to this TV(77") when the bank account, deal price, and total debt can come to a feasible agreement.

These first world problems, eh? Just dropped $2400 on a full Sonos surround (with ERA 300s as rears), so I'm in it to win it. The difference between the A95 and the A80 is real, I just don't know if I'll have the bucks to take the big leap a year from now, life tends to get in the way.

Is there anyway of knowing which panel it has? Is it just based on when it was bought?
