So is it using the same phone plan as the eSim 1? So one plan per phone and not per line?

Glad it was able to help
I am paying the gig. Payment will be per line. Just that I can free up my old phone and sell it if needed.

Thanks for your post. I was able to get help from Chat agent and could transfer the old number to eSIM2 of the new phone. Amazing. Now I can use the new phone for the old number as well. Marked the old number as my Primary one.Smilie
Following your post I'm able to do the same. Thanks!
Just need to tell them to put your old line on the second esim and you set whichever one you choose as the primary line.

I am an existing Xfinity internet/mobile user and was already getting a discount ($10 for 2 years) on internet because of the mobile service (i.e., #3 on your list). When I tried to order 2 iphone 15 pro's from the website, I was able to get $830 off each phone (#1 on the list), but no free unlimited line. I then tried to place the order through chat but was informed that due to the existing discount on internet (#3), the unlimited line promotion (#2) is not be available to me. The chat agent didn't want to force swap the internet discount with the mobile discount in fear of messing something up. No problem, I will contact them again if the free unlimited line doesn't show up after the first full month bill. Anyway, to answer your question, there is a chance that #2 and #3 cannot be stacked, even though it's not explicitly excluded in the promotion language.

I was able to get 2 phones in the same order, with $830 off for each phone.
Were you able to get the mobile discount of $20 (#3)?

My first internet bill generated today with no mention of mobile discount.

Btw, the internet bill has a note of price increase of $6 for pretty much every plan starting Jan 1. Weird that they are still advertising the old pricing, that I signed up for just a month ago.

I have seen the $20 discount missing as well. I was thinking it is because of low monthly bill which was only $30 or so. But now my monthly bill is $60+ due to device payments. I hope the $20 discount for mobile in the internet bill will come back. Otherwise I need to call CS to check what's going on with the discount.

So you guys are putting two lines on new phones correct? I wanted to do a sim swap from my kids Iphone 12 on XM (psim) to a new Iphone 15 (esim) that we ported over a GV# to. Most say sim swapping is not possible now but it sounds like I could just transfer my kids # from the Iphone 12 to the sim on the Iphone 15 (dual esim capable) correct? What about the phone credits I'm getting monthly for the Iphone 15? Will this screw those up?

Yes, you can add the other number to eSIM2 of the new phone. As long you don't change anything with new number on eSIM1, I believe there won't be any issues with device credits.

And adding the other # from my kid's Iphone 12 to eSIM2 of the new Iphone 15 can be done via Chat or in store?

Also in my situation if both #'s are on the two eSIMS's of the new Iphone 15 then what happens to the Iphone 12? I assume it would be a dead phone as it wouldn't have service any longer correct? This might work for us as my kid wants the new phone but doesn't want to give up their #.

Also one last thing, if both #'s are on the new Iphone 15 and are active do you log into both with the same apple profile or can you do use two different apple logins?

Sorry for all the questions just trying to get as much info as I can before I attempt this in hopes that it doesn't turn out badly.

I was able to do it via Chat.. I was not able to get it done with CS call. When I went to the store for this, they asked me to call the CS for such changes. Only chat worked for me in my case. It could be different for others though. May be the Xfinity store I visited is just not capable of doing such changes. Other stores may provide the service.

Yes, the old phone will be free which you may be able to use with another provider or for another number if needed. In my case, I was planning to sell my old phone after freeing it up.

It will be only one Apple profile per phone. I am not sure if you will be able to link the 2 numbers with 2 different apple profiles. You will need to do that separately using another device or computer if needed. But the Apple profile will be just one for the phone regardless of the numbers on it.

Noticed you can turn the cellular service On and Off for any of the two numbers if needed. This may allow you to keep just one number on the new phone and you can turn the other number on when needed.

I have been planning to transfer my iPhone 14 pro number to the new iPhone 15 pro. But my situation is different, because the iPhone 14 pro was bought at about the same time last year under similar promotion, and there are 8 months to pay off. I'm worried that even if customer service can transfer the iPhone 14 pro number to the new iPhone 15 pro, I will lose the monthly credit for the iPhone 14 pro.

That is possible from the way CS has been describing the situation about transferring number to another SIM. Personally, I think it shouldn't be that way though as long you keep the number with Xfinity. In the old days of only Physical SIMs, there were no such issues by moving the Physical SIM from one phone to another. This must be one reason to hate the eSIM technology from a user standpoint. But carriers may love it to enforce additional rules like these. Frown

The phone which I am considering to transfer number from is still under another payment plan.

If it is on payment plan, you will need to make sure you don't lose any device credits after the transfer. That was the main reason why everyone was trying to avoid swapping the eSIM phone numbers.

As a follow up to the discussions on dual Esim activation, I just got back from an Xfinity store and this is what happened:
Brought my (wife's!) new 15+ to the store which had an active number taken from a ported google voice number. Went to a young lady and asked her to switch my wife's number from her X to the second Esim on the 15+. She freaked out not knowing that it could be done and ran to what seemed a more experienced employee. That other fellow came over. They checked out my purchases, discounts, etc. on my account and employee #2 walked it over not skipping a beat. He set the second Esim on the 15+ with my wife's existing number, set that number to be primary and wished us a very Happy New Year!

Came back home, checked "My Devices' on the Xfinity site and both numbers now appear on the same phone. Credit of $22 monthly is still intact.

Happy New Year to all.
