Eh, I just got the 5GB deal back in September for $128 after tax, which is already cheaper than the base price in this deal.
Yeah, I got in on this, too, and was hoping it would resurface for BF so I could transfer another line over. Bummer Frown

Only certain plans are GSMT eligible, e.g., the $30/yr plan. Better to use their ebay store in your case.
Got it, thanks.

I'm so ridiculously stupid....do i get to keep my same number ?
Yes, you would tell them the number you want to port in (your current number), and they'll ask some confirming info that the number belongs to you. You'll have to get that info from your current carrier. It's not that hard, and you'll have some time to do it. But look up how to do it on their website if you're unsure of what you'll need to in order to port in your number to their service.

Have tried a different browser? 20-30mb should be pretty fast.
I get 1.5 to 2.5 Mbps. Five different iPhones.

I transferred out of Red Pocket 2 years ago because we faced data connection issues almost every month with GSMA service. Had to call or chat with CS and CS had to reset the lines every time. We lost voice or data and sometimes both suddenly. Had to restart the phone. Went through a lot of trouble in our 3 years service with Red Pocket. Not sure if I want to try their service again.

There are other providers offer $25 unlimited and you pay monthly. I will try very hard "NOT" to prepaid 12 months service again.

These prices do beat some of the benchmark plans I use for comparison. Particularly 1gb, and 5gb. Good deal, but I don't like the fact that its a promo. Meaning you're at their mercy this time next year

I had Red Pocket for a couple years and have minimal complaints, service wise. Even the customer service was fine in my experience.

It did get frustrating trying to time the sales and re-up for a year at a time without losing credit. The "deals" have also become a lot less appetizing when other MVNOs offer similar pricing without having to play the ebay game....or in this case, a deal for new customers only. No love for existing customers. As someone said a couple comments above, plenty of other fish in the sea for $25 monthly without having to buy for a year.

CMON Red Pocket.... Where is the existing customers renewal deals! :-)
Last time I renewed it was directly through their site with my existing account via a promotion they had and they let me know directly through email. Roughly same price as what this promotion is

I have been with Red Pocket for probably like 15 years. I have used both their red pocket at&t and T-Mobile. Great reception but I live in NY so at&t and T-Mobile works very well there. I have no issue with their data speed. When you are on a limited data plan, one doesn't necessarily need crazy high speed data transfers especially since I am on the popular 1GB data plan $99 deal as I am pretty much always around wifi. I am not exactly downloading large file sizes. Right now I am the red pocket (T-Mobile sim) and they supposedly have the best 5G around. In the future I may switch to a red pocket at&t sim because it seems red pocket has some better higher data deal. Customer service has been great to me.

Too bad this deal is for only new activation as I would pay $144 for the annual an (5GB). At $180 for existing customers, I will pass as $15 is too much when I have so much wifi around.

That is what it appears to be. One can go for the 1GB at $99 or 5GB at $180. $15 a month for 5GB isn't too shabby. Not quite good enough for me though in terms of price.

I'm done with promo only for first year deal.
This would say a lot about a company...don't care about existing customers.

Their ebay plan listings have always included the Renewal/Existing sim option on the drop down menus.

Their $30/$60/$99 plans never go on sale so I get them via ebay. I always get a new number for their 20/25/30GB plan so I go with whichever is the best value proposition. Lately, it's been their website.

They all do that. It isn't that much different than the cable TV companies who give you a good deal for the first year or 2 years and then it becomes the regular price.

If I was a new customer, I would get this 5GB for $144 because you won't find a better deal. Nothing even close to it. After a year, you can either get the $99 or $180 annual plan on ebay. I have been paying the regular ebay deal.

What is better deal that you see right now than the 5GB for $144 annual deal ($12 per month)?
