Definitely agree with the interesting form and versatility! But I tried projecting movie to ceiling myself (with a different projector) and I can say it's not for everyone.

When I lay flat in bed facing up, the best angle for my eyes to minimizes fatigue is to look at ceiling towards foot end of the bed (instead of common belief right above my head). So ideally the screen should be above my foot with a tilted angle facing my head. Unless you have a tilted ceiling (like attics), it is actually hard to find a comfortable surface to project to, and there nothing a projector can do about it

In the end, I switched back to projecting on the opposite wall high enough so I can comfortably watch with a big pillow behind my back; the side benefit? I can eat popcorns while I watch movie, which can't do if I lay flat

So in short, a nice dream that everyone once had
Really like the form and versatility but I think it's still too expensive. Wish they have a cheaper version and all I want is to project on the ceiling to watch movies in bed.
Wow, had to dig for the specs to find it, but 230 lumens?! Ha, yea this thing is a toy. Id say work maybe $200-250 max and most of that is due to it being a big name brand and some Amazon Chinese junk. The built in AirPlay 2 is nice, but still doesn't make this work $500+! You can get a real projector for that! Something like the popular BenQ or Epsons with 2500+ lumens!

It's powered through a USB-C so you can use a portable battery pack.

what is the game hub?
watching on ceiling isnt comfortable like you think it is. you have to keep your neck straight the whole watching time. which is not a natural position.

You're also paying for the portability which you aren't getting from a real projector.

You're absolutely right about projecting on a ceiling. I wish more people could experience it prior to purchasing a projector. It was one of the main reasons why I got into portable projector in the first place and it's not comfortable at all. Makes it way harder to fall asleep as opposed to watching something against a wall.

To your initial question, this is what I gathered from Googling:
Samsung Gaming Hub is a feature that some of its devices, such as the QN90 series of QLED TVs, come with. It's a landing page that gathers together all of the gaming apps in one place, organizes the games they offer into categories so they're easier to find, and acts as a launcher for your games.

To those wondering what Gaming Hub is, it's simply where GamePass, Luna, and basically any game streaming service resides. You can connect a controller via Bluetooth to the projector and be able to stream games.

I had this and can confirm. Just not bright enough for anything outside pitch black settings. Otherwise very cool features, responsiveness, etc. in a very small and portable package. Mine ended up on eBay.

I'm a projector geek. For about the same price or less you can get the Xgimi Elfin which uses a slightly larger DLP chip (0.33" vs 0.23", both 1080p) and puts out about 3x the brightness. It's still pretty small and portable too.

Or if you prefer the tower form factor, the Xgimi Mogo Pro 2 (1080p) or Xgimi Mogo 2 (720p) are good options that are a little brighter than the Freestyle. I got the 720p version for $250.

No I don't work for Xgimi. I just think they are making the best bang for your buck smart projectors right now.
