First, visit the American Express website where you'll see a promotion for 80,000 welcome points. Proceed to apply for this offer. It's important to note that you can check your eligibility for the card without affecting your credit score.
After your application is accepted, retract your application. Following this, you should receive a new invitation to apply, this time with an offer of 150,000 points.

Is the annual fee per calendar year? As in we get charged $695 for having the card 14 days, then charged again? Or is it actually annual?

2024, the delta lounge access is going away. You'll get a select amount of passes unless you spend 75k per year. Also, you can't go to the lounge without having a delta boarding pass, which I can't always book delta, but my airport only has a delta lounge.
I also have to book through my job's travel portal, so after not having the lounge or premium point return, not quite worth it for me
