Can't wait for more people complaining on Reddit that they A) can't book their trip over a day out, B) the Go Wild price is more than the normal price, or C) other restrictions with this because no one reads anything after the headline and buys it.

What are the watch outs here? If I pay 499, I can fly unlimited just that I can't book ahead of 24 hours? Curious on (b) do they charge additional amount when you book? It says 0.01$ only. Can you also mention a bit on (c)? Looking forward from other people's experiences as well. This could be a money saver otherwise for my son doing college on the other side of the country

Its usually $15 in taxes and fees per one way flight. +$10 if the flight has a layover ($25 total one way with layover). International flights have higher taxes and fees per flight depending on the country. I think they recently allowed u to book earlier (beyond just 24 hours), but cost an additional fee. Not all flights will be available via Go Wild. So, even if the flights aren't full, they can just decide to block Go Wild for that specific flight. Usually most Friday flights are blocked and maybe Sunday.
Unless your home airport is DEN, DO NOT BUY. Standby seats are not guaranteed, and they are the strictest among U.S. airlines about the limits of the personal item, which heavily restricts trips for anything more than short weekend trips. Layovers are often long, to the point of requiring overnight stays. Their customer support last year transitioned to fully online/web-based, which means that queues are very long.
