This looks to be new and not open box or third party refurbished, which is important because even though Vitamixes are well regarded, you'll want the warranty on an appliance this expensive. Many discounted ones on Amazon aren't NIB.
This version is dishwasher safe as compared to mine which is not. As I use mine daily, that isn't a feature I'd benefit from much, but the extra convenience might be worth it for some.
If you're using this or any blender daily, please consider hearing protection. That's a lot of wear and tear over the years.
