The ones at Walmart are the Beats Studio3 and the ones here are the Beats Studio Pros. They are a refreshed/newer version of the Studio3s. In addition to USB-C they also have newer drivers, longer battery and better noise cancelling. Oddly they don't have the W1 chip of the Studio3. Whether that's worth the price premium is up to you.

This one comes with usb-c while the other beats for 99 is with micro-usb

Price is too close to refurbished sony xm5s and bose headphones. I heard these are pretty good from reviews but missing some features

Other than usb c is there any difference in this model vs the Walmart one that will go on sale for 99$? I looked at descriptions and looks to be the same/very similar? TIA

This plays along a bit better with the Apple ecosystem. They can't do fast switching, but it's available across all your Apple devices so no need to pair this with every single device. Out of the box, the bass on this sounds less muddy than the XM5s too. Lastly, they would be more compact than the XM5 when folded.

But other than that, I think everything else on the XM5 is better. Build quality, battery life, touch controls (even when it's buggy sometimes), on ear detection, etc. What made me return the Beats is, my ears (which is a bit big) doesn't fit completely inside the cup and my ears starts to feel fatigued after more than an hour of listening. Whereas my ears fit perfectly in the XM5 as it has a bigger cup.
