Zero guarantee. This is a good price, $25 cheaper than I paid in Aug. which was a good deal that no other Retailor could match at the time. Buy it, keep it sealed and wait out for any Black Friday deals. Return if necessary for the better deal.

Dang, I've been hunting for a 13600k for an unraid build so I can get QuickSync transcoding in plex. Seemed smarter to go with the newer generation, though it doesn't have newer instruction sets or anything like that to take advantage of... Hopefully doesn't sellout before I change my mind

Buy this, slammin deal. It has 2 media engines it will be able to transcode at least 10 4k videos at the same time. The 13600k has the same 12th gen media engine in it so until you get to the 12.5 gen (ARC cards) with hardware AV1 encoding there is practically ZERO difference. Save your $$$. I bought an Arc A380 for $120 so if you have an existing rig this is a cheap update and it will be much faster as it has it's own VRAM and it does AV1 hw enc.

I do a ton of pipeline and transcoding, this is probably the best deal I have seen for the price by far for a 2 media engine setup--and its a K processor. Please make sure you get an adequate cooler for the higher TDP of this proc.

Nice, and worst case scenario I just return this one if I find a 13600K for the ~$25 difference Big Grin

Now I just need a DDR5 Mobo to go with my Teamgear 6400 Elite ram!

Already planning on picking up a Node 804 for the case, just waiting to see what cashback looks like next week.

Same. I want an efficient chip for transcoding and was hoping for 13th gen. If the 13 isn't new architecture, then it was the transistor shrink, which would be more efficient processing.
