My problem with these are they are just slightly bigger in diameter than a normal AA battery. It just makes them a pain to put in or take out of certain things, like my keyboard.

That's true for me for any batteries other than Eneloops that I bought 10 years back. Most are still going strong at about 50% capacity

I've tried both the AA and AAA rechargeables from Amazon, and they just don't last. Eneloops cost more but you won't throw them out after one year. Just go for the Eneloops.

These have worked ok for me. I use a smart charger and do a refresh drain/charge every now and then and they seem to hold up.
