I have been waiting for these to go on sale, I ordered two curtains this morning and they arrived within 4 hours, so yup, they are already hooked up. The DIY feature has tons of additional user-created content, which is awesome because I don't have the time to sit and try to configure a scene myself. I probably sat here for 2 hours flipping through all the settings. Color me impressed.

Also - I appreciate the newer govee products that link to your WiFi - so I'm not having to stand in corners of my house trying to connect via Bluetooth. I also picked up another two sets of 96 feet strand lights and 4 accent lights to shine up on the house. The neighborhood Christmas decoration contest has my name all over it this year!

I love Govee. And got the curtain lights for my kids for Xmas. I think these are probably the best curtain lights out there (based on research, will know for sure only after Xmas). I have their 100ft outdoor lights, a pedestal lamp and a few other random lights.

Really like the company and they have outstanding customer service

Govee is knocking it out of the park with their product line. From their permanent outdoor Xmas lights to home bulbs. Their quality and app are great. Looking forward to see what else they are coming up with.

Why these over Twinkly curtain lights at the same price? Honest question. I have some Twinkly lights already, but I'm not opposed to mixing if these are better.

You like their app? I have a govee setup in a gameroom for tv and side room lights and I really dislike the app. I think it's cumbersome, especially when trying to do something other than a "dreamview" preset. I wish it was easier to find and sync community lighting programs since some are super cool. It feels like they've tried to cram too much into the app - actual light utility, a store, a quasi social media, all the other govee product controls, etc. I'd really like to see them just have a specific lighting app since that seems to be their main focus now.

That being said, we really enjoy the lights for playing games or movie watching. Luckily it integrates easily into HA and I can bypass the app. I'm too deep in the SD twinkly light deals over the past couple of years but I'd definitely go for these Govee lights.

I started with twinkly years ago but I've been turned off by the lack of customization and premade scenes. I have a few govee items and while their app is a little goofy, you can do so much more with it.
