This seems to be a good entry point for Garmin. It has the mip display which gives astounding battery life and works great outdoors. Has great fitness tracking and has Garmin pay touch to pay feature which I find really convenient. Arguably 3 generations have come out since (6 plus, 7, 7 pro) and this one doesn't include navigable maps. This is probably the best Garmin you'll find for less than $450

I frequently see these for sale used in the $300-350 range

This is a great watch I picked it up at GameStop for $126 last year and it just got a beta firmware update this week.
My backup is the vivoactive 3 music I miss the touch screen but it's still nice.

Worth the extra $100 over instinct 2 that I just bought at Costco for $150? So far, I love the instinct 2

I don't see Garmin does any trade-in anyone know? I was thinking of buying this for trade-in
I've been using Samsung Watch and Samsung takes trade-in.

Keep in mind the U.S. 6 series does NOT support none Latin language notifications unless you jump through hoops to download different firmware.

The comment is based more on the difference in the display than the variation in activities. I have a Fenix 6 pro and value the level of detail on the display during activities and interface in general.

I never owned the Instinct so my experience is limited to seeing the Instinct but using the Fenix 6 for the past 4 years. When I was shopping the reviews by DC Rainmaker were really thorough and helpful in making a decision on the right model for me. I love my 5X. Not giving it up until it's dead. Even then I might get another if the price is right.
