I hadn't heard of Dreame before but did some research and found out they're owned by the same company as RoboRock. Ended up ordering a different model Dreame a few weeks ago and it's been great.

What are the difference between the L60 and the Walmart L50 beside the suction power? Does this L60 have a base station?
Nevermind. the L60 here doesn't have the base station.
Thanks.

Return the Dreametech. I have both, and have had a slew of issues since I've gotten them. The mop had to be sent in after 6 months for refusing to dock, and has since then has its washboard retainer clips broken off from the mop repeatedly hitting the sides while trying to dock. The water tanks have also broken, or are on the verge of breaking because they used the wrong type of plastic-- and this is with me coddling each tank to the sink after lifting them out of the base, not just holding the tanks by the top handles (each tank is ~$60 to replace). The vacuum robot has just been sent in because it refuses to function, saying that something is stuck to its wheels, when there's nothing there. On top of that, every couple of weeks, the maps distort/shift/warp, forcing you to reset/reload, which then invalidates your schedules and forces you to reconfigure them. If/when you end up having to send your faulty unit in, don't be surprised if they hold on to it for 30 days (yes, a full month) for "repairs". Both devices are just reaching their 1yr mark.

Dreametech appears to be a subsidiary of Xiaomi, who happens to be one of the largest electronics manufacturers in China. They typically make decent stuff, but the robots have been a big miss. It's true that theyve got ties to Roborock; I haven't figured out if it's just Xiaomi hardware with Roborock software, but I will say that my Roborock hasn't had any of the issues I experienced w the Dreametech robots, although some of the reviews I read had mentioned similar 'object stuck in wheels' error after a year....I have mine for 2, for reference

Oof. The L20 is on sale and I've been strongly considering. Problem is 98% of reviews went to be "sponsored" or astroturfed. Hard to find accurate opinions. Too bad bc it's almost $700 off

I'm already looking to upgrade the l50 ses black Friday deal. Great price at 200 bucks! But ...

1. Roller gets stuck and the unit doesn't alert. Just breaks the roller.
2. Unit doesn't alert when full, just stops being efficient. So if you are following behind it, you'll notice it isn't picking stuff up.
3. Does not avoid obstacles. It maps very well, but doesn't avoid for example a sock that's on the ground or a power cable to the lamp or a charger cable to your phone. Instead of just either wraps it in the roller or wraps it in the side arm.

I'm reading that there are other units from other companies that actually alert you when full, and more importantly will avoid the sock or power cord. I'm still hunting!

Was about to order the Dreame L20 Ultra, but then I realized that there's not a single comment that doesn't seem like a bot/paid advertisement (see OP). Stuck to roborock.

Just had to mention the Eufy L60 which is currently on a Black Friday sale and is an excellent alternative to the more expensive Roborock's if you don't need mop functionality. I just upgraded from a dying Roborock S50 (battery issues not worth replacing) and the L60 is a significant upgrade with the following notable's:

-5000 Pa Suction
-Climbs up to 20mm floor transitions--whereas the Roborock could never make the transition, the L60 climbs from our hardwoods onto our shag carpet and cleans it without getting stuck
-Used Lidar to setup the entire map for our 1022 sq ft in <10 minutes. Homemap with virtual no-go zones/areas just like Roborock.
-120 minute runtime with recharge and resume if your cleaning needs exceed this
-Extended holiday easy returns via Amazon. 1 year warranty
-(be aware no mopping with this unit)

I'm glad I took a chance on this cheaper vacuum--I've had good experience with other Eufy products and to some extent robot vacuum technology has become commoditized--huge upgrade vs my prior Roborock and much cheaper than Roborock's current offerings

Other Item's per Amazon's Listing:
-Ultra-Strong 5,000 Pa Suction: Hair, crumbs, and dust are effortlessly removed in just one pass for cleaner floors.
-Precision Mapping for Efficient Navigation: iPath Laser Navigation uses advanced Lidar technology to scan rooms and create accurate maps for efficient cleaning routes around your home.
-Customizable AI.Map 2.0: Use the app to select specific rooms to clean, set up No-Go Zones, and use Multi-Floor Mapping for homes with more than one floor.
BoostIQ Technology: Different surfaces require different amounts of suction power for maximum cleaning efficiency, so L60 automatically increases suction when needed.
-Climb Up to 20 mm: L60 effortlessly climbs over thresholds and the edges of carpets without getting stuck for extended cleaning coverage.

Thanks.
The L60S has detangler and stronger suction than the L50S. $279 on Eufy website.
